Our Story

Somerset Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned small animal hospital located in Troy, Michigan.  The owners, Dr. Stephanie Bagwell and Dr. Whitney Reinhold, met on their first day of veterinary school orientation at Michigan State University in 2010.  After working individually at different clinics since graduation, they decided to take the leap into practice ownership together.  They hope to create an atmosphere where you and your pet will feel comfortable and can work together with the medical team to make the best decisions for your individual pets.

Being a smaller clinic allows the entire staff to truly get to know your pet, and for them to get to know us.  We offer 30 minute appointments, which allows your pet more time to get comfortable with us and for the visit to feel less rushed.  It also allows you, as the pet owner, more time with the doctor to ensure all of your questions and concerns have been addressed before leaving. 

We offer a variety of services, ranging from routine vaccinations, spays and neuters, and nail trims, to more advanced medical procedures and surgeries.  Feel free to contact our office for more information or to schedule your first appointment.
